This book was dedicated to the life and memory of my father and pastor,
the Honorable Bishop Melvin Boyd.
It is a testament to the legacy of excellence and to the ministry that he both began and
entrusted in me to continue.
In my first edition of Rebuilding Lives Through the Spirit, I began chapter one talking about defining moments. In this edition, I have added or altered certain chapters to include additional passages of scripture as well as new paragraphs, explaining the workings of the spirit and its purpose in the lives of God’s people.
